Each Boveda pack provides humidity through pure water vapor that is released through the use of a specially developed reverse osmosis membrane. This two-way process prevents any unwanted flavors or aromas from being absorbed by the cigars, as can happen with more traditional humidors. This also means that the cigars will never come into direct contact with water or other substances that could damage or adversely affect the cigars. Boveda are optimized to achieve the specified ambient humidity for 100 cigars. If you have a 200-count humidor, for example, then use two 320g packs of Boveda.
