CLE’s Corojo has a robust blend of Honduran fillers bound in a Honduran leaf. The star of the show is the dark, reddish-brown Corojo wrapper. This wrapper gives the cigar a bold, spicy character. This cigar delivers a complex array of flavors including earth, leather, cedar, pepper, and a subtle sweetness.

Cristian Eiroa usually makes his cigars in Honduras, but the Chele is one of the first CLE cigars made in Nicaragua. Chele means “pale” or “blonde” in Latin America, and this refers to the Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper leaf, which is light brown in color with a golden hue. The filler and binding tobacco are from Honduras. These cigars are medium in strength, with a subtle opening of floral aromas complemented by spices and white pepper that develop into creamy wood and nutty aromas. Box-press shaped and with the typical Cle line look, wrapped in thin paper with Chele lettering at the bottom below the rings.

In 2020, CLE Cigar Company introduced its new CLE 25th Anniversary cigar in celebration of Christian Eiroa’s 25 years in the cigar business. For it he uses only aged tobaccos from Honduras. Wrapped in authentic Corojo, known for its unique taste and aromas, buttery sheen and smooth texture. Grown at the famous Tabacos Jamastran plantation of the Eiroa family. Medium in strength with a smooth burn and an emphasis on flavors and aromas. Perfectly balanced, with notes of roasted coffee, wood, black pepper and caramel, accompanied by the natural sweetness of tobacco.

The CLE Connecticut is the third cigar released by Christian Eiroa’s CLE company. The first two cigars CLE Corojo and CLE Cuarenta are two lines with all Honduran tobaccos, they were launched before the 2012 IPCPR trade show. The CLE Connecticut brings a new trend with the Connecticut Shade wrapper from Ecuador, which is something new to the portfolio of CLE and is the first of the three CLE blends that is not 100% Honduran tobacco. They are made in Honduras, and only the filler and binder tobacco is Honduran. They feature a perfect construction, a classic light brown shell color with a silky sheen. Light to medium and the flavors they reveal are of pepper, dried fruit and wood with added natural sweetness.

CLE Prieto cigars are made in Nicaragua and are the first Maduro offering from CLE Cigars. The blend is made by Cristian Eiroa, for which he uses aged, Nicaraguan tobaccos for the filler and binder, and the wrapper is a dark and aromatic Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro. Lovely medium to strong cigars, with hints of coffee, chocolate, cocoa and subtle hints of black pepper. With flawless construction, slow burn and easy draw.
