For two years, Drew Estate’s master blenders tried different tobacco combinations before the perfect blend that is emblematic of Liga Privada was born. The process of preparing tobacco for Liga Privada T52 is different and starts with cutting the stem and is called Stalk Cut. Usually each leaf of the tobacco plant is cut and dried for weeks. In T52, the leaf is cut with the entire petiole (the middle part of the plant that holds the leaf). This allows the petiole to provide nutrients to the leaves, even after they are cut during drying, and makes the tobacco leaves richer and fuller. The binder tobacco is Brazilian mata fina, the filler is high quality tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua, and the wrapper is Connecticut Habano Oscuro. Medium to strong with hints of black pepper and spices.

Liga Privada Único Serie cigars are uniquely sized in small batch versions as a special addition to the Liga Privada portfolio. Dirty Rat is the first cigar in the Unico line. Presented in Corona vitola (44 x 5 inches) with the head finished in a “twist fin” shape. These cigars have an almost identical blend and Habano Connecticut wrapper as the Liga Privada T52. These are strong cigars with a complex taste, spicy, peppery, but extremely well balanced.

Liga Privada Único Serie cigars are crafted in unique sizes in small batch versions as a special addition to the Liga Privada portfolio. The L40 has a Lancero vitola, but instead of the traditional 38 ring, it has a 40 ring, hence the name L40. Made from Brazilian Mata Fina binder tobacco and fillers from Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos, perfectly wrapped in a Connecticut River Valley Stalk Cut Habano wrapper. Medium to strong, a special cigar that satisfies even the most sophisticated tastes.
