Drew Estate presented their Tabak Especial Toraja line at the InterTabac exhibition in Dortmund, Germany in September 2022. Interesting Tapa-Negra style cigars combining two types of wrapper leaves. One is Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade Grown on the bottom and the other is Mexican Maduro on the top. This bicolor cigar uses aromatic binder tobacco from Sumatra and rich fillings from Nicaragua. Tabak Especial Toraja is inspired by specialty coffee that is grown in the Indonesian province of Sulawesi in the Toraja region. Considered one of the best coffees in the world, Toraja is an Arabica bean that is grown at a very high altitude, making it an extremely balanced, creamy and rich coffee with notes of caramel, dark chocolate, fruit and herbs. Very small quantities of Toraja coffee are also grown in Nicaragua, where it is used only for special occasions. Thus, these cigars are distinguished by rich, warm aromas of first-class coffee and spices. Medium in strength, with a sweet feel and a smooth finish.

1502 Cigars is a brand of the Global Premium Cigars (GPC) company founded by Enrique Sanchez Icaza. In 2014, he launched his first cigar on the market, calling it 1502 Nicaragua as a tribute to his homeland, Nicaragua. In 1502, Nicaragua was first “discovered” by Europeans when Christopher Columbus invaded from Honduras and explored the east coast on his fourth voyage that year. Blenda is a combination of carefully selected and aged tobacco leaves from the four main growing regions of Nicaragua (Esteli, Jalapa, Condega and Ometepe.) With a velvety natural brown wrapper, medium in strength, with rich flavors of sweet cream, cinnamon, pepper and cedar.

Characteristic of this line is the balanced and fine strength “Fina Fuerte” (Fine Strong), with a box-press shape. The flavor profile is rich with predominant notes of nuts, cedar, bitter chocolate and exotic spices.

In 2012, Tatuaje’s limited edition cigars known as the Mexican Experiment were released. The cigars get their name from the fact that they are made with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper. Due to the great interest, in 2019 the new Tatuaje Mexican Experiment line is released, known as Tatuaje ME II. In addition to Mexican San Andres Maduro, there are Nicaraguan fillers and binder tobacco in the blend. Medium to strong with an aroma profile of coffee, chocolate, black pepper and raisins.

Drew Estate is known for making unconventional cigars. So is Kentucky Fire Cured Fat Molly, a creation of Jonathan Drew and Steve Sacca, who decided to use so-called fire-cured tobacco. These are tobacco leaves that are dried and aged in rooms where they are smoked by burning different types of wood, oak, maple, etc. for several days or weeks, the tobacco leaves thus dried are enriched with smoky and woody aromas. Drew Estate took over two years to complete the blend and perfect these unique cigars. They contain aromatic Kentucky and Virginia fire-cured tobaccos in a combination of Nicaraguan and Brazilian fillers, precisely wrapped in a Mexican San Andres wrapper (wrapper leaf), which gives them a wonderful earthy nuance. Medium to strong, rich in flavors. Presented in Grand Robusto vitola (5” x 56).

Wrapped in a smooth, dark brown Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that has been aged for two years. They feature rich, warm aromas of premium Nicaraguan coffee and spices infused with tobacco leaves. A perfect cigar for both the demanding smoker and the novice. Medium in strength, with a sweet feel and a smooth finish.
