1502 Cigars is a brand of the Global Premium Cigars (GPC) company founded by Enrique Sanchez Icaza. In 2014, he launched his first cigar on the market, calling it 1502 Nicaragua as a tribute to his homeland, Nicaragua. In 1502, Nicaragua was first “discovered” by Europeans when Christopher Columbus invaded from Honduras and explored the east coast on his fourth voyage that year. Blenda is a combination of carefully selected and aged tobacco leaves from the four main growing regions of Nicaragua (Esteli, Jalapa, Condega and Ometepe.) With a velvety natural brown wrapper, medium in strength, with rich flavors of sweet cream, cinnamon, pepper and cedar.
